bought 2 of them 12-13 Y ago @ Walmart (from a sales demonstrator person 2 knives for 10 bucks)what sold me was the guy cut a groove in soft steel hammer and the cut tomato like butternow in all my 13 years of using this pair of knives i have NEVER attempted to cut anything other than food (fresh or frozen)but today both of those knives cut TOMATO just like the day i brought them homemy wife (girlfriend Then) laughed because she was convinced that I'M a sucker (she usually is true) but not this time !!never had to replace neither knife! the plastic handles still look brand new (cant say about dishwasher because my wife only calls things clean if shewashed them herself in scalding water i might add)anyways I'm not an old person (I'm 39 now) and i have no idea if the knife pictured is of the same quality as the one we own --------->but if it is!!!!!! it's definitely worth every penny(if the ones we own would break and the company would refuse to stand by the warranty -->knowing how good they were i would buy again and would not hesitate to pay more than the price here)if you look you will notice that I DON'T review alot but this knife deserves my 5 cent's!!!!!! so here it IS
