I am a cleaner at heart and love all the new products that come on the market but my go to weapon is always the steamer. I bought this shark steamer as refurbished but couldn't tell it was packaged as new and had all it's accessories wrapped individually. With all the attachments and cleaning pockets I was like a kid in a candy store. The steam generated fast and within a 1/2 a minute I was ready to go. I usually prefer direct steam to all the accessories but I couldn't wait to try them all out and to my amazement they were easy to attach and designed to easily reach and clean all the hard to reach and trouble spots like behind the toilet or the upper kitchen cabinets. I have a touch of OCD about doorknobs and light switches being clean and the wedge cleaning tool is the perfect tool to get them all clean and sterile without having to change the microfiber pocket in between. I also love the fabric steamer attachment I got the spots out of my carpet, steamed my bed to get rid of those dust mites that make my allergies impossible and freshen the couch and love seat up so it looks and smells new even if my 3 kids seem to want to destroy them and then to top it off I cut my laundry time in half by steaming instead of ironing. Great Product with fast, long lasting steam that cuts not only my cleaning time down but my trips to the Dr's office by disinfecting and killing most germs that are floating around my house. Very easy to use and can take the place of a lot of cleaning products. Has lots of attachments so there isn't too much that you can't clean with this. I especially love how it can take the ground in dirt out of the tracks in the patio door or the doorway. This steam machine is worth it weight in gold.

I've had this for about six months now. I LOVED it when I first bought it. However, about a month after purchase it stopped producing steam. I had read reviews that suggested others had this problem but decided to buy it anyway. I don't regret buying it because when it works, it's awesome. The problem is that it only heats up about 50% of the time. I've used it to clean the house, steam garments, upholstery, and mattresses. What I spent on the product vs. the cost of renting a steamer has balanced out, so I feel I got my money out of it in that regard (I bought it refurbished so I didn't pay full retail). Not sure I would recommend this product to anyone else though.
