It's a very nice lid. Very good quality, but a bit pricey for just a lid. But it fits a couple of my Fissler cookware pieces, so I thought that I needed it to match my set. I think it should have came with the cookware set that I bought. The square black plastic piece covering the glass actually broke on me in the delivery, but I was too lazy to send it back for a replacement, so I just discarded it so now I just have the black handle. It looks fine, but not a nice. But you wouldn't know that it was broken by looking at it since it is a separate piece.
